According to InFOM’s survey, households’ estimates of inflation expected in a year edged down from 13.4% in March to 12.9% in April.
The decrease was mainly due to opinions of respondents with savings. Nevertheless, inflation expectations remain heightened. The consumer sentiment index measuring people’s current estimates and expectations about their personal well-being, economic development, and consumer market dynamics went down in April. Companies’ price expectations remained almost unchanged.
