Bank of Russia to post data on project financing of housing construction with regional breakdown

This information is now available in the Financing of Equity Construction section. It is based on data from authorised banks opening developers’ escrow accounts and escrow settlement accounts for equity construction contracts.

The data, presented in a regional breakdown, show the number and amounts of loan agreements with developers, the number of escrow accounts for settlements under equity construction contracts and the balance of funds in these accounts. As the construction sector is in transition to new equity construction funding schemes, these data are disclosed to improve transparency in these processes. Data will be updated on a regular basis.
