On 3 June 2019, the Bank of Russia issued commemorative coins of precious metals.

Two silver coins belong to the Architectural Monuments of Russia series. The reverse of the 3-ruble coin bears a relief image of the facade of the Main Narzan Baths building against the background of the city. The mintage of the coin is 3 thousand pieces.

The reverse of the 25-ruble coin bears a relief image of the Zheltovodsky Makaryev Convent of the Holy Trinity (Nizhny Novgorod Region) and its reflection in the Volga river. The mintage of the coin is 1.5 thousand pieces.

Two more coins — a silver 3-ruble coin and a gold 50-ruble coin — are dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. The reverse sides of both coins bear relief images of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin in Red Square in Moscow and Tiananmen Gate in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. The circumference of the 3-ruble coin is decorated with 16th-century Russian ornament and stylised Chinese flower patterns. The mintage of the silver coin is 5 thousand pieces; the mintage of the gold coin is 500 pieces.
