Credit rating agencies (CRAs) should disclose ratings assigned to companies and their forecasts if they have agreements with these companies. This is stated in the Bank of Russia’s information letter.
The Bank of Russia emphasises that the agencies should publish companies’ ratings in cases when the latter do not agree with the results and send justified complaints, as well as in the case of termination of their contracts with CRAs. This will help ensure transparency and independence of credit agencies’ activities.
