Banks restructure nearly 230,000 retail loans totalling ₽128.7 billion in 2023 Q3

In July—September 2023, the demand for loan restructuring from individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) increased only slightly.
Banks restructured households’ outstanding loans under their own programmes for the most part. Over 2023 Q3, banks changed 9,700 loan agreements totalling ₽5.6 billion according to the law on loan and mortgage payment holidays.
In addition, banks granted loan payment holidays to servicemen and their family members for nearly 30,000 loans worth ₽10.2 billion.
In 2023 Q3, credit institutions restructured more than 3,000 loan agreements for SMEs totalling over ₽156 billion.
