Banks restructure over 190,000 household loans worth ₽100 billion: Q2 results
In April—June 2023, demand for loan restructuring slightly rose among households and declined among small and medium-sized enterprises. As before, the vast majority of the loans were restructured by banks under their in-house programmes.
In particular, 183,900 household loans totalling ₽93.8 billion were restructured on the terms of banks’ programmes and 7,700 loans worth ₽5.9 billion were restructured on the terms of loan and mortgage repayment holidays.
Banks also granted loan repayment holidays to servicemen and their family members for 29,000 loans amounting to ₽12.8 billion in the second quarter.
As for small and medium-sized enterprises, banks restructured 3,500 loans amounting to ₽94.5 billion.
