Monitoring sectoral financial flows: payments increase faster in May

Data on financial flows suggest an expansion of economic activity.
The amount of incoming payments processed through the Bank of Russia Payment System in May was 11.0% higher than the average of 2023 Q1. The growth of payments was recorded across all groups of industries. The increases were most notable in the industries focused on exports and the public sector.
