Monitoring businesses: Business Climate Index trends upwards

The Bank of Russia’s Business Climate Index rose from 5.5 points in February to 6.9 points in March. Companies have been reporting improvements in both current business conditions and their short-term expectations about output and demand for the second consecutive month. Businesses’ price expectations edged up in March.
