Purchases through FPS increase: Bank of Russia's statistics

In 2022 Q3, households used the Faster Payments System (FPS) to buy goods and services over 112 million times. This is more than over the entire previous period of the operation of the system.
In total, in July—September, 22 million households made payments through the FPS, which is 18 times higher than in 2021.
The overall amount of transactions in the system, including both payments and transfers, exceeded 9 trillion rubles since early 2022, as compared with 5 trillion rubles over the entire last year.
