As usual, a plenary discussion with participation of the Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina will open the forum. The topic of the session is ‘Digital Development. How to Keep Pace!?’ The participants will discuss the development prospects of Russian technologies, the competitiveness of the Russian infrastructure and security issues — a key feature of the digital development.
The second panel of the day called ‘Digital Surfing: Wave After Wave’ will cover the development of digital platforms, identification and open APIs, which implementation and use is becoming crucial in today’s world. It will be moderated by Olga Skorobogatova, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia.
There will be two more plenary discussions on the second day of the forum. The panel called ‘Digital Ruble and the Development of Digital Financial Assets’ will discuss such issues as the digital ruble, cashless payments tokenisation, and the development of digital financial assets. The discussion on future technologies covering the prospects of digital services, quantum technologies, and artificial intelligence will complete FINOPOLIS 2021/2022.
Other topical issues to be discussed at the forum include, among others, digital mortgages, instant payments, the application of the unified and commercial biometric systems, digital inclusion, cybersecurity, and Russian IT-technologies.
