Bank of Russia opens Precious World of Living Nature photo exhibition
This summer, numerous Moscow venues will present photographs of commemorative coins with images of rare fauna species.
Since 1992, the Bank of Russia has been regularly issuing coins dedicated to endangered animals. The Red Book and Protect Our World series consist of more than 150 coins.
Visitors will be able to appreciate the skill of artists who made the images on the coins look real, and also to learn interesting facts about rare animals habits in their natural habitat.
The Bank of Russia’s exhibition will be on display at Moscow venues throughout the summer. From 8 June to 18 July, it will be located in the Northern Tushino park. From 1 to 30 July, it will be in several parks: Sadovniki, Borisovskiye Prudy and Dzhamgarovsky Prud. And from 2 to 31 August, it will move to Arbat, one of the main tourists streets of the capital. From September, the exhibition will travel across the country and will be displayed in 100 Russian cities.
