Obverse

the mirror field of the disc bears a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, over it along the rim there is the semicircular inscription "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed on both sides by doubled rhombuses, below under the coat of arms there are indications of the precious metal and its fineness on the left and the fine metal content and the mint trade mark on the right, at the bottom in the centre there is a three-line inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination of the coin "100 РУБЛЕЙ" (100 RUBLES), and the year of issue "2018 г." (2018).

Reverse

the mirror field of the disc bears a relief portrait of Patriarch Tikhon with angels above him holding parts of the patriarch’s vestments; behind the portrait there are relief images of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and the Kremlin Dormition Cathedral; along the rim there is the inscription "100-ЛЕТИЕ ВСЕРОССИЙСКОГО ЦЕРКОВНОГО СОБОРА 1917–1918 ГОДОВ И ВОССТАНОВЛЕНИЯ ПАТРИАРШЕСТВА В РУССКОЙ ПРАВОСЛАВНОЙ ЦЕРКВИ" (CENTENARY OF THE ALL-RUSSIAN CHURCH COUNCIL OF 1917–1918 AND THE RESTORATION OF THE PATRIARCHATE IN THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH).
