the relief picture of scenes of a folk festival: to the right - the figure of a man in the national clothes plying the stringed instrument morin-khur, to the left - a man with tambourine and two girls performing the national dance, on the upper part of the disc to the left - a pare of wrestlers and a man shooting the bow, in the centre - three riders at horse-race, in the background against outlines of mountains to the left - images of cult buildings and three figures of pasturing animals, to the right - two yurtas, on bottom - inscription along the rim: "БУРЯТИЯ" (BURYATIYA) framed on both sides by ornamental elements of the national style.
