Obverse

in the centre – the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower – the semicircular inscription – «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top – «СТО РУБЛЕЙ» (ONE HUNDRED RUBLES), at the bottom – the year of issue «2006», the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

Reverse

the image of the sailing frigate «Myr». The inscription at the bottom on a ribbon: «ФРЕГАТ «МИР» (FRIGATE «MYR»). In the background to the left and to the right – two sailing ships, at the top – flying birds.

The training sailing vessel «Мyr» was built in 1987. It is assigned as training vessel for students of marine educational institutions. The frigate is holder of many prizes and honourable titles. It also was time and again winner of international regattas.
