Obverse

in the centre – the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it – the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim – on top: "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE RUBLES), below: to the left – indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre – the year of issue "2014 г." (2014), to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

Reverse

on the lower part of the disc – an opened book with the text, in front of it – the relief images of a candle and a goose-quill, in the centre of the disc on a mirror field – the relief images of the Three Prelates Cathedral and cupolas of other temples of the Spaso-Eleasarovsky Monastery, along the rim – inscriptions, above: "СПАСО-ЕЛЕАЗАРОВСКИЙ МОНАСТЫРЬ" (SPASO-ELEASAROVSKY MONASTERY), below: "ПСКОВСКАЯ ОБЛАСТЬ" (PSKOV REGION).
