the mirror field of the disc bears a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, over it along the rim there is the semicircular inscription "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed on both sides by doubled rhombuses, below under the coat of arms there are indications of the precious metal and its fineness on the left and the fine metal content and the mint trade mark on the right, at the bottom in the centre, in three lines, there is an inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination of the coin "3 РУБЛЯ" (3 RUBLES), and the year of issue "2019 г." (2019).

The Gerasimov Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK) is a federal state higher education institution of the Russian Federation supervised by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The University was founded on 1 September 1919. Pursuant to Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 360, dated 15 April 2013, VGIK was put on the state register of especially valuable heritage sites of the peoples of the Russian Federation.

VGIK graduates include winners of the Golden Palm of the Cannes Film Festival, Oscars of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences, the Golden Lion of the Venice Film Festival, awards of the Moscow International Film Festival and other global and national awards.
