Obverse

in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2010 г." (2010), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

Reverse

to the right, on the matted surface of the disc - the monument to Peter the Great, to the left, on the smooth field on bottom - a fragment of railing and the inscription: "ПЕТРОЗАВОДСК" (PETROZAVODSK), above - an administrative building and schematic image of the ensemble of the Round Square on the plan of the city, over it - the semicircular inscription: "КРУГЛАЯ ПЛОЩАДЬ" (ROUND SQUARE).

The ensemble of the Round Square (today Lenin Square) is the memorial of the stone architecture of Petrozavodsk of the XVIII century. The monument to Peter the Great (sculptor I.N. Schreder, architect I.А. Monigetti), was built in 1873 on the Round Square, in 1978 it was removed to the Onega Quay, near the River Station.
