Obverse
in the center — a view of the dome of the Senate building and the Saviour's Tower of the Moscow Kremlin, to the left - the metal sign and the finenes, to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trademark. The inscriptions along the rim framed by a circle of dots: at the top — «ДВА РУБЛЯ 1995 г.» (TWO RUBLES 1995), at the bottom — «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA).
Reverse
The International Military Tribunal judges, sitting at a table against the background of the national flags of the Soviet Union, Great Britain, the United States and France, tried Nazi war criminals, below - Themis, the Greek goddess of law and justice, holding scales and tramping under foot the Fascist eagle with a swastika. The inscription along the rim: at the top - "НЮРНБЕРГСКИЙ ПРОЦЕСС " (NUREMBERG TRIBUNAL), at the bellow - ."20 НОЯБРЯ 1945 - 1 ОКТЯБРЯ 1946" (NOVEMBER, 20 1945 - OCTOBER, 1 1946).

The Nuremberg War Crime Trial (November 20, 1945-October 1, 1946) laid bare the essence of German Fascism. Top military commanders of Fascist Germany were tried. Twelve war criminals were sentenced to death and seven received long terms of imprisonment or were sentenced for life. For the first time in the history the Nuremberg War Crime Trial declared aggression the gravest crime against humanity.
