in the center - the emblem of the Bank of Russia (the two-headed eagle designed by artist I. Bilibin), under it to the right - the mint trademark. The inscriptions along the rim: at the top — «ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ 1993 г.» (FIFTY RUBLES 1993), at the bottom — "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA).

Reverse

a Caucasian heathcock with grass in the background, the inscriptions along the rim separated by two dots: at the top - "КРАСНАЯ КНИГА" (THE RED DATA BOOK), at the bottom - "КАВКАЗСКИЙ ТЕТЕРЕВ" (CAUCASIAN GROUSE).
