Obverse

in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed bу а circle of dots and inscriptions, above - the denomination: "ДЕСЯТЬ ТЫСЯЧ РУБЛЕЙ" (TEN THOUSAND RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal, its fineness and the mint trade mark, in the centre – the уеаr of issue "2005 г." (2005), to the right - the fine metal content and the ordinal number sign of the coin №___.

Reverse

against the background of a banner’s width – the image of soldiers with banners of the German-fascisttroops put down, in the background – the Saviour (Spasskaya) Tower and the Kremlin wall, to the left, on the matted field – the dates in two lines "1941""1945", lower – a laurel twig.

During the Victory Parade, which took place on June 24,1945 in Moscow on the Red Square, the march of combined regiments of fronts was completed by a soldiers file carried 200 put down banners of the battered German-fascist troops. These banners were cast down at the footof the V.I. Lenin Mausoleum.
