The Church of Saint John the Precursor is the peak of the Yaroslavl building art of the XVIIth century. The grandiose in dimensions 15-couples church is luxuriously decorated with tiles and brisk patterns. The frescos of the church are a real encyclopaedia of the Bible topics.
