Obverse

a view of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, under it - the inscription "БОЛЬШОЙ ТЕАТР" (BOLSHOI THEATRE) and the indicate of the metal sign, the fineness, the fine metal content and the mint trademark. Lower - the two-headed eagle (designed by artist I. Bilibin), the inscriptions along the rim separated by an ornament: at the top - "25 РУБЛЕЙ 1994 г." (25 RUBLES 1994), at the bottom - " БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA).

Reverse

a dancing duet, the inscription along the rim divided by a floral ornament: "РУССКИЙ БАЛЕТ" (RUSSIAN BALLET).
