Gagarin in the space-suit, to the left - inscription in four lines: "50 ЛЕТ ПЕРВОГО ПОЛЕТА ЧЕЛОВЕКА В КОСМОС" (50 YEARS OF THE FIRST MAN'S SPACE FLIGHT), in the lower part of the disc against the background of the celestial sky - the facsimile inscription of Gagarin, in the background - the colored image of the Earth, to the right - the celestial sky.
