Obverse

in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed bу а circle of dots and inscriptions, above - the denomination: "ДЕСЯТЬ ТЫСЯЧ РУБЛЕЙ" (TEN THOUSAND RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal, its fineness and the mint trade mark, in the centre – the уеаr of issue "2007 г." (2007), to the right - the fine metal content and the ordinal number sign of the coin №___.

Reverse

in the centre – the image of the icon "The Trinity", to the both sides of it – vertical inscriptions "Андрей" and "Рублев" ("Andrew" and "Rublyov"), elements of vegetable ornament, images of two towns, to the left – a detachment of warriors, to the right – builders of a house, lower – the outlines of the Holy Trinity-Saint Sergius Lavra, below it – people at field work.

The world-wide known icon "The Trinity" (XVth century) was painted for the Trinity Cathedral of the Holy Trinity-Saint Sergius Lavra. Today the icon is stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
