a ski-race biathloner, at the bottom to the left - the date "2003", the inscription to the right in two lines - "ХАНТЫ-МАНСИЙСК" (KHANTY-MANSIYSK), higher - stylised pictures of a northern pattern and a hunter running ski, the inscription along the rim: "ЧЕМПИОНАТ МИРА ПО БИАТЛОНУ" (WORLD BIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP).
