(2009), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

in the frame of patterned matted field, in the foreground - the image of a horseman, behind him to the left - the railway-bed and a jurt, to the right - a flock of sheep, pagoda, in the background to the left - an electricity line, a petroleum rotary balanced jack, to the right - traditional and modern buildings, over them - a flying bird, on bottom - the semicircular inscription: "КАЛМЫКИЯ" (KALMYKIYA).

The Republic of Kalmykiya is located in the western part of the Near-Caspian Lowland. In south-east it is surrounded be the Caspian Sea. Extraction of natural gas and petroleum as well as fine-fleeced sheep-breeding and meat cattle-breeding are developed in Kalmykiya.
