Obverse

in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2011г." (2011), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

Reverse

in the centre - the image of Kazan Cathedral from the northern fa?ade, before it a small garden with the fountain, to the left below at the edge - the monument to M.I. Kutuzov, to the right at the edge - the monument to M.B. Barclay de Tolly, in the background behind the cathedral - the group of threes and urban blocks with the cupola of the Saint Isaac Cathedral, inscriptions along the rim, above: "КАЗАНСКИЙ СОБОР" (KAZAN CATHEDRAL), below: "САНКТ-ПЕТЕРБУРГ" (SAINT PETERSBURG).
