in the centre, to the left on the smooth sector of the disc, in the background of the globe outline - image of a half of chess pawn, to the right, on the matted sector of the disc - stylized figure of a worrier shooting an arch sided to the pawn, lower - the fragment of a chess-board, to the right - the fragment of the coat of arms of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomuos Okrug, inscription along the rim: "XXXIX ВСЕМИРНАЯ ШАХМАТНАЯ ОЛИМПИАДА · ХАНТЫ-МАНСИЙСК· " (THE 39TH WORLD CHESS OLYMPIAD· KHANTY-MANSIYSK·).
