Obverse

in the centre – the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it – the semicircular inscription «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim – on top: «ТРИ РУБЛЯ» (THREE RUBLES), below: to the left – indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre – the year of issue «2007 г.» (2007), to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

Reverse

in the centre – a tower, to the left of it – the vertical inscription «НЕВЬЯНСКАЯ БАШНЯ» (THE NEVYANSK TOWER), to the right – the date «XVIII в.» (the XVIIIth century), in the background – outlines of a town against a background of hills.

The 57,5 m high Nevyansk Tower with the vertical inclination by 1,8 m in south-west direction, built in 1722-1732 by the type of Russian hipped bell towers, is a unique architectural monument of the Mid-Urals.
