According to the UN General Assembly Resolution the year 1998, which is the year of the 50th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, was declared as the Year of Human Rights. The Declaration proclaims the individual rights, civil and political rights and freedoms as well as social and economical rights.
