Landau Lev Davydovich (1908-1969) - physicist-theorist, founder of the scientific school. His creative heritage in different fields of physics is great and diverse: works on magnetism, superconductivity and superfluidity, physics of plasma, astrophysics etc. Hi was awarded with the Nobel price (1962), member of Academies of Sciences of many countries of the world.
