Obverse

in the centre the denomination of the coin ‘10 РУБЛЕЙ’ (10 RUBLES), inside the figure ‘0’ hidden pictures of the number ‘10’ and the inscription ‘РУБ’ (RUB), visible alternately when changing the angle of vision, on the left and on the right stylised images of laurel and oak branches respectively, along the rim at the top the inscription ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), at the bottom the year of issue ‘2023’, to its right the mint trade mark.

Reverse

a relief image of the monument Worker and Tankman; and the inscriptions on the outer ring ‘НИЖНИЙ ТАГИЛ’ (NIZHNY TAGIL) at the top and ‘ГОРОДА ТРУДОВОЙ ДОБЛЕСТИ’ (CITIES OF LABOUR VALOUR) at the bottom along the ribbon.

Nizhny Tagil was awarded the honorary title City of Labour Valour for the great contribution of its residents to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, uninterrupted manufacture of military and civilian products at industrial enterprises and people’s labour heroism and commitment.

The contribution of the city to the Victory is over 25,000 T-34 tanks, 1.5 million tons of armour, 75 million projectiles, mines and bombs, and 13 million tons of iron ore. Fourteen hospitals accepted 75,000 wounded persons, 70% of whom then returned to the ranks.
