One in three Russian residents use the Faster Payments System (FPS). Over the first quarter of 2022 alone, the number of its clients surged by six million people. The total number of those who, at least once, made a money transfer or a payment via the FPS after its launch exceeds 50 million people.
Money transfers remain the most popular service of the FPS. Besides, increasingly more people choose to make payments for goods and services via the FPS. The amount of such transactions in January—March 2022 averaged 4,000 rubles.
