On extending the timeframe for credit institutions to obtain Bank of Russia loans
The Bank of Russia decided to extend from 10 May 2017 the timeframe for credit institutions to obtain Bank of Russia loans on fixed terms under the standing refinancing facilities. This measure will allow credit institutions to manage their liquidity more flexibly and will facilitate the efficiency of the operational procedure of the Bank of Russia monetary policy.
Starting from 10 May 2017, credit institutions may submit their applications to obtain Bank of Russia loans on fixed interest rates on the following terms:
electronically — up to 7:00 p.m., Moscow time;
on paper —
up to 5:00 p.m., Moscow time, for credit institutions submitting their applications to the Bank of Russia Operations Department;
up to 7:00 p.m., Moscow time, for other credit institutions.
The start of receiving the aforementioned applications sent electronically or on paper and the time of receiving applications to obtain Bank of Russia loans on terms of specialised refinancing instruments will remain unchanged.
Information on terms of operations to provide credit institutions with Bank of Russia loans on fixed terms (excluding overnight loans) under the standing refinancing facilities is published daily on the Bank of Russia website.
