Retail investors expand their stock purchases in Q2

In 2020 Q2, amid elevated market volatility and falling deposit rates, retail investors, acting independently, became interested in riskier assets.
They stepped up the purchase of shares, foreign currency and structured bonds with foreign currency-denominated underlying assets. In these settings, generally speaking, retail investors tended to be more interested in making independent investment, and less interested — in standard trust management strategies.
