One in four employees in Russia has corporate VMI policy

Companies continue to use voluntary medical insurance (VMI) as a tool helping them remain competitive employers. The amount of VMI contributions payable by businesses for their employees increased by almost 25% over the first nine months of 2025 year on year, reaching ₽191.3 billion. During this period, the total number of employees insured by companies under VMI rose by 2.9 million to 20 million.
