News
The proportion of microloans issued by microfinance organisations (MFOs) to borrowers with debt service-to-income ratios exceeding 80% equalled 27% in 2023 Q2. This is lower than 35% — the maximum allowed for such disbursements according to the macroprudential limits.
The sector is becoming more technologically advanced. Online microloans accounted for 73% in the market in general and 91% in its short-term segment.
The microloan portfolio reached ₽400 billion in 2023 Q2. All segments demonstrated an upward trend, including because consumer demand expanded.
More details are available in the Review of Key Indicators of Microfinance Organisations for 2023 Q2.
