Bank of Russia to gather financial market development suggestions from professional community (233 KPIs)
The annual strategic session between the regulator and professional community representatives concerning the BoR's 233 KPIs Project is scheduled to take place in December 2017. Its agenda will cover the outcome of the regulator’s efforts to deliver on the professional community's proposals in 2017, as well as further development objectives of the financial market from the viewpoints of market players.
The 233 KPIs project — a special format for Bank of Russia interaction with the professional community — was put into practice back in autumn 2013; since then financial market players have been able to submit their suggestions regarding market development on an annual basis. These initiatives are grouped into several key subject areas. This year, their updated list includes the three new segments: general banking regulation elaboration, lending, and payment systems. In this way, the regulator’s work in this area will now be focused within 14 specific areas.
The Bank of Russia will seek feedback from financial market players on regulatory innovations and welcomes their participation in the formulation of the 233 KPIs portfolio for 2018. Participants can offer a maximum of three new suggestions per area. Deadline for submission: 16 October 2017. For details of the submission procedure, please refer to the website of the Moscow International Financial Centre Taskforce - the permanent project management tool for 233 KPIs.
