Submissions open for FINOPOLIS-2017 forum
Fintech Youth Day is slated to take place on 4 October as part of FINOPOLIS-2017, an innovative financial technology forum. This event is intended to boost awareness of financial technology among schoolchildren, students, graduate students, young graduates and university teachers.
Participation in Youth Day is open to students, graduate students and recent university graduates, as well as specialised lyceum students.
To take part in FINOPOLIS, aspirants must build a team of two to five people and submit an application.
Teams will qualify by completing tests developed by the Bank of Russia and the FinTech Association. They will be assessed in two categories: business analytics and programming. Twelve finalist teams will have the opportunity to take part in the Youth Day of the FINOPOLIS -2017 forum in Sochi.
The Fintech Youth Day program will include:
- A youth teams’ contest, where participants will be asked to solve business cases proposed by financial companies,
- Master classes and presentations by Russian bank and venture fund executives and BoR representatives,
- Meetings with successful fintech startups - potential key players of the financial industry.
Also, Youth Day winners will have the chance to meet fintech experts and leading Russian bank and IT company executives; they will also receive awards and prizes from the FINOPOLIS 2017 Organising Committee and partners.
