On National Financial Board meeting

On 21 September 2017, the National Financial Board (NFB) meeting reviewed the draft Monetary Policy Guidelines for 2018-2020, as well as information from the Bank of Russia’s Board of Directors on key issues of the Bank of Russia’s operation in 2017 H1.

NFB members heard Bank of Russia information on the progress made to date on the Roadmap ‘Guidelines for the Development of the Russian Financial Market for 2016-2018’. They also discussed current issues in the development of refinancing.

Pursuant to the Federal Law ‘On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia)’, the NFB decided to hold a tender to select the auditor for the Bank of Russia’s 2017 annual financial statements.

Also, the Board approved Bank of Russia regulatory acts related to accounting at the Bank of Russia.
