Financial CERT
Financial CERT means Financial Sector Computer Emergency Response Team, a special division of the Bank of Russia.
Financial CERT served the basis for the establishment of a system of information exchange between financial market participants, law enforcement agencies, telecom providers and operators, system integrators, anti-virus software developers and other companies engaged in information security activities.
Information exchange participants inform about threats they have identified and attacks committed on them, and Financial CERT provides recommendations on how to address these risks. This helps in quickly responding to emerging threats in the financial area, in preventing their spread, and in mitigating the losses of financial institutions and their customers.
