On supervision and oversight in the national payment system

The Bank of Russia informs that the functions of off-site supervision and oversight in the national payment system have been transferred from its regional branches to the National Payment System Department of the Bank of Russia.

In view of the above, interaction on the issues of complying with the requirements of Federal Law No. 161-FZ, dated 27 June 2011, ‘On the National Payment System’, and Bank of Russia regulations adopted in pursuance therewith (excluding requirements for information protection in the process of funds transfer) as part of supervision and oversight in the national payment system, shall be executed jointly with the National Payment System Department.
