Bank of Russia issues new commemorative coin

On 3 May 2018, the Bank of Russia issues a commemorative silver coin in denomination of 3 rubles of the series „НА СТРАЖЕ ОТЕЧЕСТВА” (Guarding the Homeland). This is the second coin of the series.

The reverse of the coin features relief images of attacking Great Patriotic War soldiers against the background of silhouettes of tanks and warplanes with the inscription „НА СТРАЖЕ ОТЕЧЕСТВА” (GUARDING THE HOMELAND) on the bottom along the rim.

The mintage of the coin is 3,000 pcs.

Two more silver coins of the same series are expected to be issued later this year.
