Information on non-lender issue-grade securities to become more easily available

17 January 2018
News

The Bank of Russia has launched a test version of an e-service granting access to information contained in the register of non-lenders’ securities.

The new service will enable interested entities (issuers, shareholders, investors, security market participants and others) to receive e-excerpts from the register via the BoR website. Up until now, this excerpt could only have been provided after submission of an official request to the regulator.

The register contains data on issue-grade securities of issuers which are non-bank institutions (non-lenders): shares, bonds, issuer options and Russian Depository Receipts, which were registered after 1992. An issuer can be searched for using part of its title, unique identifier, INN (TIN) and OGRN. Currently, the register contains data on 225 thousand organisations. The regulator intends to update these data on a weekly basis.

Moving forward, there are also plans to include information on issue-grade securities of credit institutions in the register.

The service will run in a test version for the first few months. Please let us know of any data discrepancies detected at reestr@cbr.ru.
