Born on 13 June 1953 in Moscow.

Education

1975: graduated from the Department of Credit and Economics of the Moscow Financial Institute. She has a good command of the English language.

Career

She was awarded the title of Honoured Economist of the Russian Federation by the Presidential Decree of 13 July 2003, and the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland 4th class.

1975–1988: Economist, and then Chief Economist in the Planning and Economic Division of the State Bank of the USSR (Gosbank).

1988–1992: Chief Economist, Head of Section in the Planning and Banking Coordination Division at Gosbank.

1992–1993: Head of the Economic Analysis and Banking Regulation Division of the Bank of Russia’s Banking Regulation Department.

1993–1995: Deputy Director of the Bank of Russia’s Banking Supervision Department.

From April 1995: Director of the Bank of Russia General Economic Department.

June 2013 — 31 January 2017: Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia — Director of the General Economic Department.

Since 1 February 2017: Advisor to the Governor of the Bank of Russia.

Since 9 April 2018: Head of the Bank of Russia Main Branch for the Central Federal District.

Member of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors (since 10 October 2018).
