Bank of Russia Personnel Training Centre

    The Bank of Russia Personnel Training Centre is the hub of the Bank of Russia complementary vocational training system.

    It organises and conducts courses of study for executives and specialists of the Bank of Russia head office, establishments and organisations and provides computer and foreign language training for Bank of Russia head office specialists.

    The Centre specialises in holding seminars for Bank of Russia executives and specialists on current issues relating to banking in the context of international and bilateral agreements signed by the Bank of Russia with foreign central banks and international organisations.

    It organises and finances seminars and study courses at the Bank of Russia for representatives of the central (national) banks of the CIS and EurAsEc member countries.

    The Centre provides methodological, information and organisational assistance to the Bank of Russia training centres and structures on issues relating to complementary vocational training and produces and distributes teaching aids for use inside the Bank of Russia complementary vocational education system.

Bank of Russia Interregional Training Centre

    The Bank of Russia Interregional Training Centre is a division of the Bank of Russia Tula Regional branch.

    Under the multilateral agreement on cooperation in training EurAsEc central (national) bank personnel, the Centre implements vocational training programmes (seminars, courses and study courses) for executives and specialists of the signatory banks.

    It organises international courses on current issues of banking for executives and specialists of the Bank of Russia and representative of CIS central (national) banks, occasionally inviting representatives of Russian commercial banks, ministries and agencies and foreign banks.

    The Centre conducts courses, seminars, methodological conferences, workshops and roundtables for executives and specialists of the Bank of Russia regional branches under complementary vocational training programmes and to provide training in advanced computer techniques.

Bank of Russia Methodology Training Centre

    The Bank of Russia Methodology Training Centre, a division of the Bank of Russia Tver Regional branch, compiles and publishes teaching aids and methodological documents on the Bank of Russia complementary personnel training programmes implemented at the Bank of Russia educational institutions and training centres, on secondary vocational training in banking and instruction and methodological materials (manuals, visual aids, etc.) for the methodological support of the teaching process.

    The Centre takes part in the development and harmonisation with organisations concerned of draft federal state education standards for primary and secondary vocational training in banking. In order to implement them the Centre elaborates model vocational training programmes and contributes to their introduction into the teaching process at the Bank of Russia schools (colleges). It also develops materials to analyse the quality of training specialists in banking at the Bank of Russia schools (colleges) and meeting the requirements of the federal state education standards.

    On behalf of the Bank of Russia and for the purpose of introducing promising forms of the teaching process, the Centre takes part in the development of an experimental education programme of BA Degree in Banking implemented at the Bank of Russia Moscow Banking School (College) jointly with the Higher School of Economics (State University).

    The Centre analyses and makes expert assessments of teaching aids and methodological documents regulating the training of specialists for the Bank of Russia in institutions of higher education and complementary vocational training.

    In order to ensure the unified content and methodological approaches to implementing the main vocational training programmes, the Centre renders methodological assistance to other educational establishments of the Russian Federation in implementing the banking training standards.
