Memo items. A positive sign denotes net increase in assets or liabilities; a negative sign denotes a net decrease.
This sign convention differs from that used in BOP statistics.
   
Notes: The item "Banks" covers data on credit institutions and Vnesheconombank.
  Starting with January 1, 2008 securities, included in reserve assets, have been valued at market price.
  Stocks on the items "Trade credits", "Loans" and "Arrears" for General government are given at book value. As a result of negotiations, conducted by the Paris Club Creditors, total claims will be adjusted downward.
  Data on portfolio investment (including government securities) are presented at market value.
  Column "Other adjustments" includes assets and liabilities of credit institutions, whose licenses to carry out banking activities were cancelled within the reporting period.
  Data on international investment position can be revised (predominantly within a year after its publication).
