Powers of Financial Ombudsperson Tatiana Savitskaya expanded

On 15 December 2023, the Bank of Russia Board of Directors decided to vest Financial Consumer Ombudsperson Tatiana Savitskaya with additional powers to examine applications with respect to insurance agents. Now, she is also empowered to examine applications relating to credit cooperation, the activity of credit institutions, pawnshops, non-governmental pension funds and insurance agents.
Tatiana Savitskaya was appointed as Financial Consumer Ombudsperson on 1 January 2021 for five years.
