The obverse:

The inscriptions on the ring along the rim - on top: "ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (FIVE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the metal sign and fineness, in the centre - year of issue: "2008 г." (2008), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
The reverse:
on the disc - the Holy Gate with the Saint Theodor Stratilat Gate Church, in the background - couples of churches, crowns of trees, on the ring below - the inscription along the rim: "АЛЕКСАНДРОВ" (ALEXANDROV).
