Alexander Lakhtikov

Born on 28 May 1958 in the Sokol settlement, the Dolinsky District of the Sakhalin Region.

Education

In 1981, he graduated from the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School (the Order of Lenin, the Order of the October Revolution, and the Red Banner of Labour).

In 1997, he graduated from the All-Russian State Distance-Learning Institute of Finance and Economics.

Career

1981–1984: Engineer at the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School.

1984–1993: active military service.

1993–2011: Deputy Head of the Directorate General for Security and Banking Information Protection of the Bank of Russia; Deputy Head and then Head of the Directorate General for Security and Information Protection of the Bank of Russia.

2011–2015: Director of the Human Resources and Personnel Management Department of the Bank of Russia.

2015–2017: various positions at public and commercial organisations.

Since 9 October 2017: Director of the Cash Circulation Department.

He was awarded the medal of the Order ‘For Merit to the Fatherland’ 2nd class, the decoration ‘For Honourable Service at the Bank of Russia’, and holds other official awards.
